Pest Control in Northeast Texas
A call from Gladewater sounds a lot like a call from Gilmer, or from a place out past Tatum. It is the same shop. Bugged Out Exterminating is locally owned, based at 2111 Airline Road in Longview, and we have been driving this part of East Texas for over 17 years. There is one office. The towns change. The crew does not.
Humidity is the thread through all of it. A wet spring, a heavy summer, a winter that never quite gets cold enough. Fire ants, mosquitoes, and the spiders in the porch lights are just what this weather grows. Anybody with a yard out here already knows.
Towns we already drive to
The package pages and the specials already name these places in one breath: Longview, Kilgore, Carthage, Lake Cherokee, Tatum, Liberty City, Gladewater, Gilmer, Ore City, Gary, Diana, and Center. Lake Cherokee and Liberty City sit on the Kilgore side of Longview. Gladewater, Gilmer, Ore City, and Diana are up the road north. Gary and Center lean toward Carthage. Tatum is on that line too.
If your town is on that list, you do not need a storefront with your city on the door. Longview is the office. Kilgore is a short drive and uses the Longview phones. Carthage is served from Longview too, and folks there often use the Carthage-area number instead of the Longview line.
The work is the work
We do not keep a separate price book for each town. A general pest visit is still the inside and the outside of the house. The plans are still Bronze, Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, and they still disagree with each other about warranties. Read the package page for the one you are considering. Platinum is where mosquito service sits next to the monthly general pest visits. On the other plans, mosquitoes are specialty.
Seasonal specials for spring ants, fleas, and the fall treatment have their dates on those pages. They apply on this route the same way they apply in Longview. The military and veteran discount does too.
Pests that like this weather
These are the ones we get asked about from every town on the list:
- Fire ants after a rain
- Spiders, wasps, and scorpions
- Roaches, crickets, and earwigs
- Fleas
- Mosquitoes in the wet months
- Mice, termites, and bed bugs
Termites on a house that is already built are a liquid treatment or borate on the wood. That is the whole termite page. We look before we quote. Mice mean sealing gaps a half inch and larger, and you can ask about bait stations on the rodent page. Bed bugs start with the checklist, then CrossFire or the kit if you want to read the product side. For a swarm of honey bees, the honey bee page points you to local apiaries instead of a spray.
If your pest is not named, just ask. The pest management page is the short version of the whole menu. New customers can use the information request form. The contact page has the street address and the Judson post office box.
