Pest Control in Longview, TX
If you live in Longview, you do not have to wonder where the truck comes from. Bugged Out Exterminating is locally owned, and the shop is right here at 2111 Airline Road. We have been taking care of houses in this part of East Texas for over 17 years. The green van with the fly on the side is ours.
A Longview year has a rhythm. Spring rain wakes up the fire ants. Once the humidity settles in, the mosquitoes find every low spot in the yard. By late summer the scorpions show up in the garage, and a mild winter barely slows the roaches.
Pests we handle in Longview
Most calls start with something ordinary crawling where it should not. A general pest visit covers the inside and the outside of the house. Here is the everyday list, plus the jobs that usually need their own plan:
- Ants, including fire ants
- Spiders and scorpions
- Crickets, roaches, and wasps
- Silverfish, earwigs, and beetles
- Fleas, mosquitoes, and bed bugs
- Mice, rats, and termites
Fleas, mosquitoes, bed bugs, rodents, and termites are specialty work. The package pages say which of those ride along with a plan and which are scheduled on their own. If yours is not on the list, just ask. We would rather tell you straight than guess.
Home pest plans
Some folks want a warranty. Some would rather pay for a visit when they need one. We do both. The named plans are Bronze, Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, and they are not copies of each other. One plan may include fleas and roaches. Another, Platinum, is the one that adds mosquito service to monthly general pest visits.
Read the plan before you pick it, or call and tell us about the house. A one-story on a shady lot is not the same job as a pier-and-beam place with a damp crawl space. Seasonal specials cover spring ants, fleas, and a fall treatment, each with its own dates. If you served, there is a military and veteran discount too.
Termites and the little gaps
Termite work we do is post-construction. That means the house is already standing. We treat with a conventional liquid or with borate on the wood, and we look at the house before we recommend either one.
Mice are a gap problem as much as a bait problem. We seal cracks and crevices a half inch and larger, the little doorways under doors and along pipes. You can ask about bait stations. Photos of the stations are on the rodent page, and a technician gives the quote after seeing the house. For bed bugs, the checklist, CrossFire, and the treatment kit are the pages to read. Honey bees are a different story. Our honey bee page points you to local apiaries.
Neighbors in Kilgore and Carthage, and the smaller towns on the Northeast Texas page, are on the same route. The shop stays in Longview. New folks can send the new customer form. If you already know us, the contact page is there when you want to leave a note.
